By now everyone on the planet has heard about, read about or seen the leaked pics of VH-1's Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta reality tv star Mimi Faust's soon-to-be released sex tape. Rumor has it her boyfriend and co-star Nikko Smith decided to capitalize off of the last few seconds of fame he had left from that original 15 minutes and put the video out there and apparently a new rap song making mention of their infamous shower scene. Several companies threw their dollars into the ring but Vivid came out the victor by being the highest bidder with an offer of $100,000. Allegedly.

Now speculators believe Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta will outsell other sex tapes that feature reality tv stars such as Farrah Abraham of Teen Mom. So Vivid stands to make a pretty penny off of Mimi and Nikko's shower rod creativity as this scandalous skin flick could be a lucrative endeavor for all involved. Not just money wise but vast opportunities may be on the horizon.

If you ask anyone $100,000 plus the fame and notoriety involved with having your own skin action flick could be a dream come true opportunity. I don't know what Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and others pocketed from the sale of their sex tapes but we all know about the infamy they gained from it along with the "perks" of being in the spotlight and garnering endorsements, perfume lines, clothing lines, television shows, legions of fans and more.

Mimi Faust decided to respond to the thunderous quips, tweets, memes and negative responses by posting this on her IG several days ago:

This comment says, to me, that money was definitely a motivator in her decision to allow the "exposed" footage to be purchased, produced and released by Vivid as a marketed sex tape. I guess DJ Quik was right when he said....

Some people believe the level of "success" the other women have garnered from the sale of their sex tape is exclusively for white women and because Mimi isn't a white woman her sex tape will not catapult into the household name category as it did for some of the women mentioned. Do you think Mimi's tape will be a catalyst of more to come? Could this be a calculated career move or an epic fail? Would do you think?

I cannot fathom what the hearing impaired were going through as they watched the sign language interpreter attempt to fake it until...well he hasn't made it yet but you know what I mean. Unfortunately the interpreter, Thamsanqa Jantjie, admitted to suffering from an "on-stage schizophrenic episode" during Nelson Mandela's memorial service in December.

Thamsanqa Jantjie believed angels were flying around the stadium.

People have been injured even killed trying to get the goods at a good Black Friday sale; however, in this case what the article reports isn't real and thankfully so. 

Why you mad!?!

So a couple of weeks ago, yes I'm late but bear with me, after the initial airing of an episode of Love and Hip Hop New York one of my brothers called me to ask my opinion about a debate he was having with an associate about these two.

It seems my brother and his associate didnt agree on why Erica Jean, the estranged baby mama of rapper Saigon (pictured above during the calm after the storm), was upset about the request to have a DNA test taken. 

Exactly. The child looks plenty old enough to have had a DNA test performed, had he wanted one already, like a million times. Mentioning your other baby's mothers comments was a big no-no and as for Peter Gunz input...I can't. And the comment that she doesn't know who her baby father is once the drama kicked off was not only stupid and uncalled for it made him look like a weenie because if she don't know who the father is and you're just a stand in until the real father stands up then I know a whole bunch of otha kids that wanna be taken to the park, treated and hung out with. Don't be shy share the love.

My question to you is...who's right and who's wrong in their situation and why?

Girl..This Is Your Jam

So I'm sitting here writing and listening to music and everything is all good then this song comes on by Sunshine Anderson. This song used to bump. It had all the chicks in the club with their hands up and getting their boogie on. It was like the I Caught You Cheatin and Now It's a Wrap Anthem. Every female was bumping it and every dude hated to hear it, dance to it or hear a female singing it. It was like it was the song that came before a serious man bashing session because once the song went off it was time for women to share their experiences that caused them to relate and identify with the song.

Every season has that song that evokes an emotion so powerful that you not only identify with it you keep it on replay, record it on your voicemail (yes...I said that. You know you did that at least once or twice) and quote the words in a letter or text if you didn't play the song on ol boy's voicemail. . There was Sharissa's "Any Other Night" then Erykah's "Tyrone" and then we segued on to Sunshine's "Heard It All Before". That song slipped right into rotation and ran with it.

These songs are not necessarily men bashing songs they're more along the Sparke "When A Woman's Fed Up" line of thinking. They are just there for mental stimulation and to put something on your mind and spark a thought or conversation in the right direction towards whatever that might be for you and yours. Once that direction is carved out in your mind then follow it like that yellow brick road they followed in that mythical movie and skip along the road to Keyshia's "Let It Go" and keep it moving towards your own internal peace and happiness because you have to have that to maintain regardless if you stay or if you go. A Sit Down

So while eating my brunch of toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and a warm soder and I'm watching Mob Wives Chicago. I know I'm behind an episode or two. I'm trying to catch up but any who...I'm watching the episode where Christina decides that she needs to have a face to face with Nora because Nora had the audacity to delete Christina from her Facebook. That got me to wondering, in these days and times of living in a social media world where everyone has a profile or page or two on everything from Tumblr to Twitter...is it really something to take personally when your removed or block from someone's friend list? Some people have magnanimous amounts of friends on their friends lists and can't possibly know and communicate with each and every one on a personal level and probably not interested in doing so anyway so being exed by someone shouldn't be seen as a personal attack no more than picking one gas station over the other or choosing Starbucks over Coffee Bean. I mean if Starbucks refused to give me service because they realized I've been partaking in Coffee Bean that might be a reason to have a sit down but if someone removed me from one of their friends list then so be it. So Not Cool

So...recently I was catching up on one of my favorite shows Dexter, now in its 6th season with seasons 7 and 8 coming in 2012 and 2013 respectively, when I realized the shows writers were taking a story line down an unfavorable path. Stop the presses...Deb, his adoptive sister, has feelings for him? Ummm...who thought that was a good idea? Yuck. Now, it's a tale as old as time. Whispered rumors of step-brothers and step-sisters and other non-biologicals and non-DNA sharing family members getting it on but Dexter and Deb? No, no, no, no! That is all wrong. I need to get on Showtime's website and write a letter to the upper echelon and see what we can work out because this storyline just cannot continue down the horrid path on which it currently is on. I'ma throw a BF if something isn't erased and rewritten in the script soon. And then to top it all of Deb walks in on a crucial bonding moment between Dexter and the Doomsday Killer aka Travis Marshall!? What...now it's like he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Well, he's a serial killer cop so technically he's already damned so....what is he supposed to do marry his adopted sister so she can't get on the stand and divulge all of his dark passenger's escapades? The speculation is giving me a headache. We'll find out soon enough....any thoughts or ideas on what's to come for Deb and Dexter?

Kevin Durant makes a memorable first appearance at Rucker Park

Kevin Durant doesn't need to speak about the Ruckers. Everybody's talking about his appearance at Harlem's Rucker Park Entertainers Basketball Classic Game Monday Night. The reigning high scorer and forward for Oklahoma City Thunder sank 4 haymakers wowing the crowd. Durant says he always wanted to play at the infamous Rucker's Park and sealed the deal by scoring 66 points.
